The Sound of Music

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I was the princess of the night, Andy was the prince.
We dressed ourselves up formally, and went for the play.
This was the first play i've ever had in my life, and it was great.

Highlights:
Set in pre-World War II Austria, The Sound of Music tells the enchanting story of young, spirited novice Maria Reiner. Unsure of a monastic life, Maria leaves the abbey to serve as governess to the seven children of stern, widower Captain Von Trapp. Lovely Maria endears herself to the children and eventually captures the heart of their father. Based on a true story, The Sound of Music is an uplifting tale of love and the family's daring flight from Nazi occupation.Winner of 6 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, The Sound of Music is guaranteed to captivate Malaysia with classic Rodgers and Hammerstein songs, like My Favourite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Climb Ev'ry Mountain, Edelweiss, Something Good, Maria and more! Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience classic Broadway in Singapore!

As for dress code for the show, It says:
As per Istana Budaya's Rules & Regulations, the dress code is semi- formal attire.
Collared shirts for male patrons.
Strictly no round neck t-shirts, no jeans, no sports attire and no slippers.

Thats lies. I saw people in Jeans. *wink*

Shall We Dine?

Met Alan, after couple of months, for dinner, for some beers.

He is still as busy as always. Seeing him answering hundreds of phone calls through-out the whole outing made me felt bad for occupying his time. *Sigh*

Something has changed, i am not sure what it is...

He no longer is the guy that i used to bump into after opening the-stupid-big-and-heavy doors in SC.

Changes are good, especially for people like us.

Anyway... kinda miss those days, where everything were so pure, clean, and simple.

* Take care dude. *

KL - London - York - Manchester - KL in 4 days

Back and Forth from United Kingdom within a week was no fun - Trust me, especially at this very moment: 37°C in here and 0°C over there.

To overcome the fear of stepping out the house alone was no fun,
To overcome the jetlag was no fun,
To overcome the heartbreaking sound for spending sterling pounds on a cup of coffee was no fun!!! T.T

It was a great experience, though, to walk in snow - but spending RM5K to experience this was a great pain, still.

A coffee addict, i am.
